(cross posted from the Symposium)
I've been updating the results of Bowers project to keep people in the know: Check out the Symposium to see when this was done.
For John McCain
#24 Mother Jones 100 Years in Iraq
#25 CBS News Defending Iraq policy
#37 USA Today Overturn Roe v Wade
#38 AOL Filibuster Minimum Wage
#39 Salon Opposing GI Bill
#42 LA Times Defending Nafta
#115 Seattle Times Social Security
That is all in the top 200 that I spotted.
Compared to this result on Tuesday:
#24 CBS Defending Iraq policy
#29 Mother Jones 100 years in Iraq
#37 AOL Filibuster minimum wage
#43 LA Times Defending Nafta
#44 USA Today Overturn Roe V Wade
#51 Salon Opposing GI bill
#55 CNN Opposing expanding SCHIP
#126 Seattle Times Social Security
There is good and bad. The good is that things are moving up we occupy spots 24,25, 37-39 and 42 within the top 50. Also the Seattle times piece is going to be within the top 100 soon. The bad is that my favorite John McCain piece fell off the top 200. Over all an improvement but keep working at it.
Now onto McCain
#18 CBS News Defending Iraq Policy
#38 LA Times Defending Nafta
#41 Seattle Times Social Security
#48 AOL Filibuster minimum wage
#59 USA Today Overturn Roe V Wade
#62 Salon Oppose GI bill
#87 Mother Jones 100 Years in Iraq
That is all within the top 150 for McCain compared to Tuesday:
#18 CBS News Defending Iraq policy (alright an article in the top 20)
#39 LA Times Defending Nafta
#40 MSNBC lobbyists create policies
#45 Seattle Times Social Security
#51 AOL Filibuster Minimum Wage
#67 Salon Opposing GI Bill
There is good and bad here as well, a lot of stuff moved up and we have 1 more article showing up than before, however we lost the MSNBC article. We need to branch out to make this effective. Chris Bowers has some tips over at Open Left to make this more effective.
