Gram positives have a protein outer part that is immunogenic.
E. Coli very common bacteria, Vibrio cholera is a huge cause of cholera (due to a toxin it produces). Bordella Pertussis is the cause of pertussis or the P in the DTap vaccine which also includes Diptheria and Tentanus.
